The Importance of Sister!
A sister is someone who loves you from the heart,
No matter how much you argue you cannot be drawn apart.
She is a joy that cannot be taken away,
Once she enters your life, she is there to stay.
A friend who helps you through difficult times,
Her comforting words are worth much more than dimes.
A partner who fills your life with laughs and smile,
These memories last for miles and miles.
When she is by your side, the world is filled with life,
When she is not around, your days are full of strife.
A sister is a blessing, who fills your heart with love,
She flies with you in life with the beauty of a dove.
A companion to whom you can express your feelings,
She doesn’t let you get bored at family dealings.
Whether you are having your ups or downs,
She always helps you with a smile and never frowns.
With a sister you cannot have a grudge,
She is as sweet as chocolate and as smooth as fudge.
Having a sister is not just a trend,
It is knowing you can always turn to her, your best friend.

Letter to Arnu on his third birthday!
Hello Arnu,
Here We wish you a very happy B'day!...a fun filled year to nearest and dearest arnu...Hope you get what you wish thru out ur life dear!
Happy Birthday arnav...You really are our heart beat!
You are a big boy now ..You will be going to school within 15 days...still not that big enough to understand this letter.. but yes one day surely you will enjoy reading it though!
Dont know exactly from where to start it but yes Iam going to enjoy writing it!...Going to miss these days very much..going to miss the trouble you give me while eating and bla bla bla...
Your 3rd b'day is just 1 day away....
I could paste a bittersweet smile on my face and say "oh, it all went by so fast." But it didn't. Many, many days during your baby and toddlerhood felt endless.
I clearly remember many events and things that we celebrated and also hard times sickness that we shared together...
In the past three years, I've learned how much harder motherhood is than I could have ever imagined.
But I've also gotten to experience the best parts of my life in these three years, starting the day you were born.
I cannot describe the joy I felt that day when I got to see you and hold you for the first time. I was so incredibly proud. I had carried this beautiful little baby for 9 months and safely brought him into the world.
Showing you the world, hearing you sing at the top of your lungs, seeing how gentle you are with everyone around you-- these are small things that I love about having you in my life.
I love hearing you shout so loudly at top of your voice, and I love the rare times you run up to me and hug me. I love how you insist on giving me a hug for sure after your everyday bath. I love the way you cry everytime papa makes different sound with you...I treasure the way you get anger soon...
I love how you can be completely serious one minute and then erupt in giggles the next. Challenging as life with young children can be, I don't want to imagine life without you.
Which brings me to the fear. I didn't know real fear until I had children-- in one of those, "If anything ever happened to you" ways. I wish I could protect you from any harm possible in the years ahead, but I guess I can't.
It is hard to believe, but you will grow and change, and somehow your papa and I will forget certain aspects of your two-year old self. So I will finish with some of your favorite toys/pastimes/interests from the past year and current one:
Cars. Hot Wheels. The Pixar movies. Really, anything having to do with cars.once you get to see these cars in walmart gone....without billing it first you want to play with it!
Singing. Specifically Twinkle Twinkle...Head shoulders...Nursery songs your papa teaches you.
Colors. Especially Purple,Blue Green...Dont know how you learnt purple first when I was teaching you with Red...
Hiding cars and keys many precious small little things in your walker cum cycle compartment..one of yours weird habit....If anything is missing I would chk that first!
Playing with water endlessly..from one cup to another any type of avialable utensil that you managed to get from kitchen...everytime spilting it on carpet.and finally getting shouts from me...
You managed to say apple...but run away from it and cakes and chocolates and cookies..its one more habit of yours that makes us feel sad.
You insisted that your favorite foods were "shev and Puffed Rice."(Ridiculous).
Your stupendous love with mickey that you watch on laptop...
So also your life Ipad...I remember once I start talking on phone with mama you grab Ipad for mickey and literally shout on top of your voice to get it!
You always make us happy by saying oh ho oh....la la la....no no no
There was perfect transition in you after 2nd year you started saying flower, cycle, stuck, kick, pen, monkeyetc
You love saying and seeing aeroplane...
Few marathi words are on the tip of your tongue like khau, bau, mashi etc
We are very much surprised as at this small age too you easily differentiate between clock and watch.
Your dance on marathi serial title song tuzhe ni maze jame na is awesome!
your love towards caillou is undefinable!Your world is caillou!
We clearly remember you saying birdie,Yummy...
You show all your body parts...head,shoulder,knees toes,eyes,ears,mouth,nose,teeth...you say hello and hi so very well that everyone around you say you as cutie pie and admire you...We r really proud of you baby!
We love when you shout big car, look at that while riding in a car.....you give hi5 to everyone around you which makes them very happy....you say great job so very well dear for any damp thing that you do!
I remember you saying papa mama always and that day in theatre on top of your voice...I just love the way you bang on my stomach!
You really say juice,potty,sho...quiet very well!
We are really fond of your words like emote, bilemo, pingu, mickey, water, pani, twigs, aeroplane, chips, books, bubbles, photo ,boot, car!
You love wiggles very much...you dance when tree fu panda on TV begins...You pose very nicely while taking snap and say sla...sla...also cheese..
I remember the way you frighten your papa with T-shirt that has eyes on it...we really enjoy that...
You say boat, coffee in amazing manner
No matter how long the days (and nights) might be, I will always love being your mother. I'm so proud of you. Once again Happy 3rd Birthday to my one and only little big boy!
Love,
Mama and Papa

A Cute Letter from a married girl to her mother
Dear mom,
Like every normal girl, I was excited about marriage right from my childhood days.I had lot many sweet dreams framed for my partner.
I never thought beyond the time that I would spend happily with my prince here in USA.
But today after marriage, I realize that marriage is not only bed of Roses. It’s not just about being with your beloved and having a gala time.
There is so much more to it.....
It comes with its own share of responsibilities, duties, sacrifices and compromises with your hubby.
I can’t wake up anytime I want to. I am expected to be up and ready before everyone else in the family.
I can’t laze around in my pyjamas throughout the day. I am expected to be presentable every time.
I can’t just go out anytime I want to. I am expected to be sensitive to the needs of the family.
I just can’t hit the bed anytime I want to. I am expected to be active and around the family.
I can’t expect to be treated like a princess but am supposed to take care of everyone else in the family.
And then I think to myself, sometimes ‘why did I get married at all?’ I was happier with you, mom.
Sometimes I think of coming back to you and getting pampered again.
I want to come home to have my favorite food cooked by you every evening after a nice outing with friends or after I return from my college after a long train ride.
I want to sleep on your laps like I have no worry in this world.
But then I suddenly realize, had you not got married and made such sacrifices in your life, I wouldn’t have had so many wonderful memories to hang on to.
And suddenly, the purpose of all this becomes clear- to return the same comfort, peace and happiness to my new family that I got from you.
And I am sure that as time passes, I have started loving this life equally as you do. Thank you mom for all the sacrifices and compromises you made. They give me the strength to do the same. Love you.
Yours and only yours
Supriya

Bye Bye Louisville.....
Louisville, KY: The first place where I spent major time outside Mumbai.
Came to Louisville in Oct’11. Spent a year-and-a-half discovering that I could remain sane without a job. Yes, Iam on H4 Visa here.
And now time has came to say Bye Bye to louisville.and friends who made relationship more than friendship with us...Its very difficult to bid farewell to louisville...But we have to with heavy heart!
31st july 2013 is our last day in louisville rather last day of Nikhil in office...No longer we remain kentuckians now...rather Louisvillians...But still it has made home in our heart and the memories behind it are so cute that its hard and tough to eradicate it from mind...because of following 'n' number of reasons...
Louisville is a quaint, small city in Kentucky, just an hour from Cincinnati. There are lots of Indians in Louisville, which is why; at times it becomes difficult to believe that we are in US.
Louisville has stunning waterfront skyline...
It has over 120 parks
Over 1/3rd of the worlds Bourbon comes from louisville
Official bats of major league baseball are made in louisville.
It is home to largest victorian neighbourhood in US
It has nation's largest urban forest.
The most exciting Two minutes in sports happens in louisville..."Famous for Multimillion -Dollar Kentucky Derby festival"
Louisville is named the Top Travel Destination for 2013 by Lonely Planet! It is a city on the move, with major amenities like world-class performing arts, great sports and incredible dining.
Louisville offers hospitality, warmth and smaller-city advantages like shorter commutes and a lower cost of living. We're proud that Louisville has been named America's "Most Livable" large city and one of the top "Foodiest Cities" in the world.
Louisville is a City of Parks with one of the nation's largest parks expansions underway, adding 4,000 new acres of park land and the 100-mile Louisville Loop trail encircling the entire community.

My trip to Louisville gave me the opportunity to spend quality time with my husband, start this blog, discover my love for cooking, learn cake decoration, learn how to make bead jewelry, make and nurture friendships, and realize that there are a whole lot of things to do without a job.
How time really flies away no one knows!...we are moving to Richmond Virginia on 8th of August and celebrating our arnu's 3rd b'day in richmond ....not even dreamed of it!... moreover with his beloved moushi..
wo to sone pe suhaga...Happy that we are moving where my sisy can reach me at least!
I would surely like to frame our second trip to Louisville. And that time Please Louisville let me realize one of my dreams: work in US....
I think I would have been lost in a bigger city like Chicago or New York. Louisville is a great place to be.
